What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas; along with all of its unique attractions and unparalleled nightlife. This amazing city is home to some of the most individualistic shows, business concepts, and city themes.
How are you supposed to choose between them all, when the average person only spends 4 days in Sin City when they travel in from out of town? We’ve got you covered! We’ve put together a list of the must-see attractions you need to visit during your stay.
See below for a list of the best attractions in Las Vegas and all of the tourist spots that you have to hit before you get on your flight back home.
- Minus5 Ice Experience
As we said, Vegas is home to some of the most unique business concepts that you’ll ever find. A perfect example of this would be the minus5° Ice Experience, a bar scene that is made entirely of ice.
But the awesomeness doesn’t stop there! With our Ice bar, you’re getting access to an all-around experience. We take reservations ahead of time to ensure that your entire group is accommodated.
After you’ve chosen your package, we’ll give you a fur coat (fake fur) and gloves for your entire party, then escort you to your area where everything is made of ice. We mean everything! The tables, the chairs, the glasses that you drink from, they’re all made of ice!
How is that possible when Las Vegas is located in the desert? We control the temperature in the room to a manageable temperature. The entire place is decked out with ice sculptures that were designed by professional sculptors.
We’ll also make sure that your fun night is captured by one of our professional photographers. It’s the perfect fit for bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate events, or any other team-boosting private event you might want to organize!
- The Las Vegas Strip
You wouldn’t take a trip to Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower. You wouldn’t visit St. Louis without visiting and climbing to the top of the Arch. There are some things that you simply have to do when you’re in a certain city. That’s how the strip is in Las Vegas.
The entire thing is a sight to behold. During the nighttime, it’s illuminated with lights in almost every color imaginable. You’ll find virtually any type of entertainment you could ask for: concerts, shows, casinos, attractions (such as our version of the Eiffel Tower), and much more.
The entire thing (from end to end) is over 4 miles long, so we recommend that you dedicate a few hours to walking it up and down. If you’re going in the summertime, make sure that you wait until the early evening to begin your quest along the Strip.
Why? Well, for one, the road gets so hot during the day that it can literally cause pavement burns on your feet and shoes. For two, it’s Vegas! You’ve got to see the Strip at night and bask in all of its glory. Gather up your friends and family and make a night of it.
There are even family attractions that occur later into the night, so you don’t have to keep them in the hotel room if you’d prefer to bring them with you.
- Fremont Street
When some of you think of Vegas, you think of those videos you’ve seen on social media where people are ziplining through a light-filled area with people below them. That, dear reader, is the famous Fremont Street Experience.
Fun fact: the Strip wasn’t the first paved street in Vegas; Fremont Street was! Named after the explorer of Las Vegas, John Charles Fremont, this famous street is known for its adult nightlife scene and gambling.
There are many different shows, stores, and casinos to see, but you will also enjoy observing all of the different street performers out there. You might even get the chance to take a picture with Spider-Man if you catch him on the sidewalk!
- Bellagio Fountains
For those of you looking for a free form of entertainment while you’re in Vegas, be sure to check out the infamous Bellagio Fountains. The height and power of these fountains are enough to make your jaw drop.
Whether or not you intend on stepping foot in the casino itself, the fountains are a great way to entertain your kids each morning and get you into that Vegas tourist mindset to start your day.
If you enjoy “ooh-ing” and “aw-ing” alongside fellow tourists, then the Bellagio fountains are a spectacle that you have to behold.
- Helicopter Rides
If you’ve never been to Vegas before, the first thing you’ll notice is how bizarre the premise of it is. Las Vegas is a thriving city that’s stuck in the middle of a desert. Sometimes, it takes a higher viewpoint to realize the miracle that it actually is.
For that, we recommend helicopter rides in one of two spots: either take a ride above the Strip or one above the Grand Canyon. You’re sure to have a smile on your face the entire time.
Just a warning, the Grand Canyon is around 135 miles from downtown Vegas. That said, those sites are absolutely worth the 2.5-hour drive to get there!
